| IN the next sad night we will send all our love to Bee, Andrew, Ned, David, Lissy. Barnaby and
everybody in Iverna, Wales, Nairobi and to
Carlo and Billy wherever they are.

Hi Anno! Hows it going up there? What shape are the guitars in
heaven like? I'm told being there is very rewarding in the sense that
it is at a higher state of mind; i cannot begin to imagine what the
music there sounds like. I envy you, and yet i cannot live without
our mortal flaws and earth, cannot decide whether or not i prefer
imperfection or holy perfection if it exists. Come visit one day, just
slip a note under my door first, or you scare the shit out of me
otherwise.
Always in my head, always curling through my brain cells, always. I
think about you everyday.
You sure dictionaries aren't drinkable? you seemed to be drunk on
words all the time, you voraciously eager young man. |

| to mark national poetry day, i've shared some of anno's words with my friends/followers on twitter. couldn't pick just one poem, though "i sat by myself ..." spoke to me loudest today, so along with the text of that one, i placed links to several more. today has offered a lovely excuse, if one were needed, to flip through WSTRIO again.

| Just got a message from Lissy that Alice Coulthard (= Anno's 1st heart throb during "The Cement Garden") has won £5,000 for Anno's Africa. How, when, where I'm not sure - on Who Wants to be a Millionaire I think! Anyway Alice that's brilliant news - also that you're a soap star these days - Rock on babe! |
