Love unto all you beautiful people. Hope in the images tonight…so righteous and great in frailty. For kings, vagabonds, empresses, servants…sweet music playing with two musicians “with sticky eyes that trust the darkness and the light, for both are Him and He is us when we are whole.” …creating, destroying, maintaining all ways of dark matter that take their right…their light!…from within…and without (as one can see from hearing the stories told or watching the movement of the stars). i am privileged and inspired to behold such sacredness breaking into freedom, and am taking beats from each and every heart of these ancient futures as i look through the children’s paintings…God Bless All of You in London who save what is “Close to the River“ in Kenya as they save the world…and Peace unto You, strong and gentle, Anno…and to the Lord Victor…who he is, the spirit of his idenity gives and takes so much power in the stroke of his brush like the poet's hand, and musician's strings...and the butterfly's wings...

“Does this bold heart beat on?
Feel us breathing in your heart ...
Feel us breathing in your arms ...

This bold heart beats on ... “

We had such a brilliant night -- and have raised enough to get back to Nairobi next year!! Lulu was a star -- and sang his sweet heart out. Now I can't sleep thinking about how the day went so perfectly -- and what a lot of clearing up there will be tomorrow!! (And how to get all the paintings to their new owners.) Heigh Ho - it was worth every second... Anno - your bold heart does indeed beat on. Love MamaBeee

Last night Johnny Borrell and Razorlight raised £2,500 for Anno's Africa at their gig for XFM's 10th birthday!!!! AMAZING. We rushed home to count it all up and were totally knocked out. It means that almost everyon ewho attended the concert gave the "suggested" £5 donation!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, JOHNNY B AND RAZORLIGHT from all the Anno's africa team and the kids of Majengo and Limuru - (and all the others who will now be able to join the project.) Love from MamaBeeee xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lulu - the 17 years old musician from Kenya who worked with us in Nairobi, is flying in on Sunday. It has been a long haul getting his visa but he made it at the eleventh hour!! He is staying for almost a month and will be playing on the 24th with Billy. We hope to give him a great time in London -- starting with the Razorlight gig for XFM's 10th birthday celebration on Monday. HUGE thanks to Johnny Borrell who is reallly pulling out all the plugs in his role as an "ambassador" for Anno's Africa! The band have requested a donation of £5 for the charity from everyone who goes to the gig - so that should be a terrific kick start to our fundraising appeal. Also Jane B has just confirmed that she will be doing a concert for Anno's Africa on March 1st next year, in London, sponsored by Hermes - for who she designed that famous Birkin bag. It should raise quite a lot of money, some of which we will put towards developing an Anno's Africa project in one of the Francofone countries in Africa... Jane is tireless in her support of the charity and determined to keep Anno's flame alive. She is also currently touring with readings of poems by Anno and Serge Gainsbourg... Amsterdam yesterday and Berlin tonight. Thank you dearest Jane... Love MammaBeee xxx PS Peter if you are in London - or can get there - you can certainly come to the fundraiser - just let me know and I will send an invitation...

Billy just flew in to be with us on the 24th! And yes, Peter - we still have a few T-shirts (tho not sure about M) and BBTB CDs - but your ongoing support on this site means much more to us than loot, so an overdue thanks to you and all the other regulars who keep this place alive with your visits.
