It's such a wonderful thing you're all doing, Anno's Africa. I wish I could attend the charity event. Perhaps a few more purchases of CDs & books are in order so I can be doing my bit to help! Are there still copies of Bring Back the Bomb or any medium tees in?!
Ps. How's Billy? I'd love to hear some more of the smooth soundings of the Bocephus Prime + Dante sometime! I know it can't happen soon but I'd still like to show my overt interest!

Take care everyone :D

A video in memory of Victor Otieno, the Anno's Africa art student who died earlier this year, is now on YouTube...

Wrote this to my friend Pete and felt like Anno was on my shoulder, as we had talked about Heart Life and Lucid Dreaming at Anglesy 2000.

The heart
Will it keep beating as long as I watch over the world?
The heart
Will it keep yearning while I learn to be?
The heart
It is tested every step that I take
Dreams come hard...
dreams come softly...
I fear sleep if they threaten too much clarity
For me...
I will take as much from those as I may assimilate
I want sleep though the moment I arise
The wonder or starkness may greet.

I have just thrown some of Anno's ashes into the sea off the Cape of Good Hope - where the two great seas meet - the Atlantic and the Southern Indian ocean. We stood on a windy cliff top at the most southerly point of the great African continent and there out to sea three whales were breaching. They stayed for some minutes - leaping and flapping their tails onto the water to create huge bursts of white spray. I had seen the spume far out to sea as we approched the headland and shouted to Anno to meet me at the Cape. I am sure it was he!!! - Along with Lee and Alberto perhaps?? xxxxxx

Gwan Mr. Ned. Better than academia Mr Ned is, anyhow.

Noooo! Teabag's gone! Terrible. I loved that cat.

Graduation day - Ned wearing his mortarbord rather like Tommy Cooper's fez - but handsomely begowned - and so dashing in Nick's Valentino Jacket. What a splendid sight! You quite melted your old Mum's heart. And how proud Lissy and I were as they called out -- "Edmund Xavier Birkin" -- (and I couldn't help but think how clever Andrew and I were to have given you such a brilliant name...) x x x

Ooh...Anno was right! So my rubbish and insults are sent with glory and love for Ned!
