| No answer to that question - but it's one that burns in my head and my heart every day. Just heard of a baby of a friend here in Nairobi who died of pneumonia at 4 months - an illness that seldom kills in the UK but here is one of the commonest of all reasons for a child's death. I was told that in Africa they seldom give a child a definitive name til they have reached a year as they don't want to "jinx" their chances of survival. But I lnow that doesn't help on a personal level. As they say here "Pole" which means "I am sorry..." and is used as an expression of sympathy - or empathy, rather. Love from MamaBee xxx |

Relationship to Anno: Friend
I have just retuned from our wilderness desert cabin between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs Ca.. 2+1/2 weeks in a vortex with warm spring water in the pool,and hot in the hot tub, good company, and full moon. No clocks, Peace.
I have not played the guitar in a year or so.
I played the song I wrote for Anno not realizing the days. I played that song night after night. I almost have callouses back on my fingers, after the blisters! Thank you Anno.
I visited the Cahuilla Indian campsite on the sand dune behind the house, facing north. In 2002 I burried the bit of Anno's ashes Bee gave me, along with some weed and tobbacco.
You so wanted to come here and so.... There you go!
The dune is slowly folding over itself and so you have blown away and been burried and carried. No more pottery and bone suface here now. Every wind shifts the sand.
60 feet away a new revelation of a petrified thigh bone and tools. Good company Anno!

All the beautiful people who were a holy circle without these darling boys up till the broken dawn of their third decade…and then continuing to be so the day following. Sure as the stars flew on, God knows, it’s not the same! Now it’s within, but as Anno knew…within and without, yin and yang…each defining the other, and yet incomplete without each other.
…If this one knew the way to make art for you, there be a painting, real and true. It be a horizon, and thus it would go on without space or time, for as the oneness of day and night…all of you are the light’s shine.
This is the night…such a beautiful night…
Can speak no words for it, nor touch this cluster of family and friends that journey light years about the universe, but in feeling the sea above and deeper down, i can listen to these Immortal Voyagers you all are a side of the making of…and so i am sending love that is alive through the music, the music, the music!
