Thanks for posting those poetry readings, they are all superb, full of emotion and yet so restrained. I especially loved hearing Alice Coutard reading "The Stars Are Out In Hordes Tonight", one of my favourites!

Off to Kenya tomorrow to start work on Anno's Africa. I will post a few reports as things develop. Meanwhile, if anyone goes on line who has useful contacts in Nairobi - not necessarily artistic (we are looking for possible employees for our kids for after the workshops) do email me at beegilbert@hotmail.com. I am presuming that I will be escorted on my adventure by my three guardian angels, Anno Lee and Alberto. (Pack your knapsacks lads...)xxx

We've added a new page of poetry readings, thus far by family and friends, but soon to be expanded, allowing anyone to upload their own readings, as well as any other creativity inspired by Anno and/or KjD. The temporary page can be accessed by clicking on the Introduction tab at the top of the green menu bar, then scrolling down to the link.

And thanks to you Ned for having thought it up and pushed it through. Our Japanese co-conspiritor Miro Ito has posted "Anno meets Anno" on her own website at http://www.miroito.com/2dim.html - the one being the legendary Mitsumasa Anno, after whom the other was named...

I've been working on a large posting that involves thanking everyone who helped make the KjD night possible, but I've gradually realised that it really belongs on a seperate page dedicated to all the KjD nights that we've done, which we will set up in the near future.
So seeing as it's getting on I thought I'd write a quick message to say a universal thank you to everyone who came to the night, and to all those who helped make it happen. It was better than could have been hoped for.

Like I said I shant go through the long list of people I want to thank mow because that'd take up a page (and would knowck of Billy's wonderful posting - great to have you back on the site man!), but I would like to say that there two people without whome the whole event would never gotten off the ground.
Our very own Gus of Trepan Records, who co-organised the whole event with me (from beginning to end) and was the only person who went furthur into the depths of hell than I did in order to make it happen. The other is the crusted benifactor of both of these websites, Andrew, who's opinion and continual support (both practical and financial) were essential to the night's existence. Thank you both so much!

Again thank you to all of those who came to the night, and to those who played on it. For those who didn't make it - sorry that you missed out, but you can have the next best thing by downloading the video recording of the night that the brilliant Harry Holm filmed for us. He's in the process of editing, so we'll have it up as soon as possible for you. Due to the sucess of this night I'm pretty sure that we'll do another one soon, so keep an eye on the news page!

PS - the new feature to this site, a page where you will be able to upload any KjD inspired stuff that you've made (eg: music videos, paintings/drawings, songs, etc), is being worked on by webmaster Dafydd and is almost ready. We've already got a tonne of stuff to put on it, but we'll always want more so to all of those who want to display their KjD inspired material - get it ready for posting!
