Owing to a cock-up on my part, the homepage has been replaced with an old version dating back to 2004.... this will be remedied as soon as Disaster Man can restore the current homepage - along with this week's Fix, #159. He'll also add a button for Anno's Africa, which can only be currently accessed by going to the Introduction Page, scrolling down and clicking on the link.

Thanks to France telecom refusal to answer my calls for help with my internet access, I didn't realize we were off line - and am so grateful as I would have felt bereft if I had tried to log on to the sites and found that I couldn't. Here in our tiny Hamlet of l'etre du Bois we are mourning the death of a new friend, Richard - who died of a heart attack on Friday. It came out of a blue sky and left his family reeling. Ned, Joni and I are sending our love and thoughts back to England with his sweet daughters, Kate and Rebecca and his gentle wife Tina. Three of the bravest. So Anno, Lee and Alberto - over to you. He will be delightful company and although he prefers opera and Gregorian chant - he will no doubt be amused by a celestial KjD... x x x

Just played Dr Filth's cd - soooo good!! - very powerful stuff - and George is singing on it too -- and sounding so like his cousin -- it was almost uncanny. Genetic connection via the vocal chords??? Everyone should go on to the Dr Filth site and listen - or also to Trepan.com I think? So proud dear George - you have really taken up that baton...xxxxxxxxlove MamaBee

I left a message on the Rabbit page about this very thing - people living on in their words. But they also live on in their music -- and dear Alberto and Lee are drumming and strumming up a storm on Method One - it seems a shame that Anno, because of his prolific outpourings, dominates these pages - so everyone - go and listen to the other voices too - over in the music section!!! And dearest Billy who is still composing AND writing brilliant stuff just sent me his latest song "Drunken Cherry" which I hope Ned will be downloading to the site? Quite wonderful - his talent is staggering - as his fellow band members always knew. I sometimes thought that he and Anno were like two voices calling each other across a valley - especially in "Ultraviolence". Now he just has his echo - but he keeps calling - in his pure tones, keeping the light burning for his friends. X X X

I just "met" Anno... after a long, unexpected wandering look at his father's stuff, which was brought on by watching "Finding Neverland". But, all this wandering finds me the words of his poem "...most of our lives are spent, gathering jewels for our coffins, saving big bits of stone, with poetry thrown all across it", and I am amazed. I was diagnosed with a (supposedly) terminal heart/lung illness in 1997, given eighteen months to live and have wondered what to make of it all ever since... I've compared it to being "put on hold... indefinitely". But, it has given me time to reflect on death, and life, and Anno's words are beautiful. I am deeply saddened by the thought that he's no longer here, but to know that he was here, at all, is wonderful. What a gifted, beautiful, young man! He lives still... as long as people, like me, keep "meeting" him.
