Billy, Barney and I will be blowing Anno's ashes into the wind off
Zabriskie point in Death Valley, on the 8th. Do post where you
will all be?-- and how you will be remembering our lovely boys...
Isa and Mario - my heart will be entwined with yours that night
-- as it will with Andrew, Ned, Lissy, Jane, linda and all Anno's
cousins and friends... We will play Anno's version of Baby Blue,
and Ned's favourite -- Landslide-- as we dance on the rainbow
rocks... xxxxxxxxxxxx

That photo of Anno in his armour at Emma's hallowe'en party brings back on this night of ghosts all his crazy beauty. Give thanks for his craziness in this stale and sterile world!

Love to all from the Nairobi slums where almost every mother I meet has lost a child - or two or three sometimes, - to AIDS or other illnesses and accidents. How lucky we are to have this place to come to for comfort... I think of you dear Isa - and send my love - and to all the other Mums I know who are still, and will always be, grieving for their children. Love MamaBeee

i usually find poems and novels uninteresting and find they ramble on about the same shit people have heard about before... but Anno deeply affected me and reading his poems helped me realise that im not alone..
thanks to his words im okay

This week, I finally got Dreams of Waking and Who Said the Race is Over? After years of wanting them.

I feel like I am complete.

I find solace in Anno's writing - he's such an inspiration for me. And reading the Anthology, the book, lyrics, it saddens me, because I never met this person, and I never will...

It's just not fair. So I'll take this time to thank all of you for sharing his legacy. I'll never forget him!

I will be spending November 8th with Billy and Barnaby, in
America. Still not decided exactly where we will light the grand
bonfire (no fireworks allowed) but wherever we are we will hurl
some of Anno's ashes into the wind and play the KjD CD as loud
as the machine permits... Let's all unite in a great burst of music
on that night - "Landslide" maybe? - and deafen the heavens
with our celebration. Andrew (and Ned?) in Wales, Lissy lighting
her candle in London - Isa and Mario having a mass said in
Bergamo... Do post a message as to where YOU will be and
and can all join hands and decibels - across countries,
continents and the seas...xxxxx
