So intrigued by Anno's exhilirating version of "At the Back of the North Wind" which was read to me as a child. I looked it up on the net and found hundreds of hits, among them this: "'At the Back of the North Wind' is still being reprinted for children (in Puffin Classics): either this is a very rare example of "publishing inertia", or there really are some children who are "profound in metaphysics" (as the narrator believes in MacDonald's fantasy), and who are still moved by an account of dying as an exhilarating process of learning, and of death as an initiation into ultimately unguessable joys." That seems to speak so well for Anno too. I always have the feeling that he knew exactly where he was going too and almost couldn't wait to get there. xxx

| Click on the "Introduction" tab at the top of the Contents bar on Anno's homepage, then hop to the bottom and go to Anno's first dozen pages of "At the Back of the North Wind" for a wonderful read... |

| Thank you Ken and family for coming to the site. I know Anno would have been pleased to see you here! and to acknowledge all the wonderful things you did for him, Ken, in those golden childhood days, in Wales. He was a lucky boy to have had such friends. Love from Beeee xxx |
