Ah, well... It has been a while... years in fact since I last posted here. And in those years my life has changed allot. I've been to more funerals than I'd like to admit. I've traveled... further than I can feel any more, indeed these feet of mine have seen many a worn out shoe... I've found a soul mate which I have loved more deeply than I thought possible and... as seems to be the way with these things... lost her to nature as quickly as she was thrust into my life... I have seen things that have appalled me and left me bereft of hope for human kind... And I've tried my best to help... Never far from my side has been that little black book... Beautiful poems indeed but much more then that, an instant reminder to grab life, to live it to the full. A mental "kick up the arse" if you will. I realize only now that so many of my decisions in life have been made because of Anno's shining example of how to eek every last drop of worth from our frankly short and unimportant lives. I don't quite understand how I am only 23... I feel like I have lived a lifetime of highs and lows in the past few years. I still alas have no idea what I want to do with my life... Much to the chagrin of my parents... But I know that whatever I do in the future it will have been forever affected by an extremely talented young man by the name of Anno. Anno also brought me together with my love... indirectly of course.. So I have that to thank him for aswell. We had 14 months and 3 days of life finally worth living. I miss you Sarah.

Don't usually comment on here though I often read the family and friends heart breaking and healing words. Just to share a bit... Without plan, Hannah and I ended up listening to Anno and John Lennon throughout the whole morning. In this moment, i can't think of two songs more right on Truth in their words and music than "Collapse of the Wave Function" and "Come Together". Bless you, Bee. When i think of those "here" and "there"...careful with one another indeed. Not in a fearful sense, but in enjoying one another and coming to understand each other in all the pain and letting go. And your tall boy like you was so full of care for others. Across "spacetime" i feel like we've all come together. And you and Anno are always reminding of this in your very much alive love. Much Love to all of you xxxxxxxxxxxx ps speaking of the birch tree, which you describe so awesomely, Bee. Hannah described Anno's conscienceness as a tree this morning. if only i could remember what was said, but anno heard it i'm sure as we continue to hear him.

In Normandy with dear Gabrielle and her lovely boy Harry who has just got back from New Zealand. We have been talking of Anno and his and Harry's friendship which started when they were about 6. Harry was caught up in a "solar tsumani" in Australia which promted him to thoughts of Anno by its strange, extraordinary light. Meanwhile Anno's birch tree in Normandy continues to grow elegantly tall - waving its delicate copper leaves in the breeze and reminding me of my beautiful tall son who I miss, every day. A lovely quote from Gabrielle to end this posting -- "We should be careful with each other. We should be kind while there is still time..." Love from Bee , Gabrielle and Harry... xxxxxx

Wow, Gresa...what a beautiful message and understanding. Just woke up to it and can now imagine you breathing in snow or crying on the bus. It is awesome how Anno is an artist that - even for us who never knew him - becomes not just an inspiration or hope or teacher, but a friend through his words and music. That's a strange, good and powerful thing. He's so sincere, and his love transcends and spins and breaks through in the state of becoming still. Thank you so much for sharing, Gresa. It's been a year since I discovered Anno and I can say that there has not been a day since that I have not thought of him. I'm so thankful for being aware of his existence, even better, I'm thankful he existed altogether and still very much so exists now. KjD are my favorite band and it isn't even an exaggeration, I will always be thankful to Bee for giving me the Dreams of Waking CD. Anno has opened my eyes to everything, all the tears I've shedded and even the possible epiphanies I've had, I cannot emphasize enough how much his words and music have rejuvenated my spirit and possibly even sent me into cloudy abysses. Sometimes I feel like I've become an emotional debris, but it was always there, and it has been the best cleanser ever. I cannot express enough elated and grateful I feel by being aware of this young man, I'm almost content... almost ready. It's relieving to have faith in the afterlife at times like these, I look at the stars and see him and everything else. I'll never forget running down Portobello Road at 10pm when the snow was still about and just feeling so alive but distant and yet connected to both worlds whilst listening to Song for Anno, realizing that I was actually breathing. Or the time I actually let myself cry whilst listening to Warship on the bus. I envy all those that knew him, he's like the best friend I never had, just everything. Yet again, I am left pondering around and it's almost 2am and chances are my rubbish internet will meet its demise soon...yet again woops. And thank you Andrew for the website! again and again. Oh and congratulations to David too! All my love, again and again and again, Gresa :) xxx
